Applying to Schools
Steppingstone Scholars strives to help families successfully navigate the application process into an independent school.

Families take steps toward applying to a new school during the first summer session, a long-term process that lasts until March when admission decisions are made. Parents agree to attend a series of meetings, workshops, and counseling sessions, as well as make school visits. In November, there is an application workshop to answer any questions.
Steppingstone assists each family in the selection of schools that would be appropriate for the Scholar. Steppingstone also offers a Financial Aid Workshop to provide an overview of the financial aid process. Parents then set up individual meetings with a Steppingstone staff member to go over their financial aid forms and ask questions.
